About Us
A brief history of where it all began can be traced back to one of those 'propping up the bar' conversations between Brewery founders Dave Holmes and Roland Kannor back in 2005. Whilst supping a pint or three - 'we can do better than this!' we decided whilst drinking something or other! So after a year of 'research' ( hic!!!) the Brentwood Brewing Company was founded on 4th July 2006 on a 5BBL capacity plant in Navestock, Brentwood, Essex. After a few months of production of our launch beer - 'Summer Virgin' (recently winner of the 2007 Chelmsford CAMRA Beer Festival!) - we added further fermenting capacity to our plant enabling us to brew 3 times per week to meet an ever increasing demand as word spread of a new brewery producing quality local ale! The addition of further ales has seen us achieve a current portfolio of 16 different ales, with 6 regularly available(see our 'Ales' page).
 We are looking forward to the future, and hope you will be able to find a pint of BBC Ale in a pub near you!
