There’ll be more than 100 real ales from around East Anglia for you to try at this festival including six Brentwood Brewing Company beers, along with real cider and perry.  In addition there’s a Belgian bar with draught and bottled Belgian beers.  The 7th Colchester Winter Ale Festival takes place at Colchester Arts Centre, Church Street, Colchester, CO1 1NF, which is fully wheelchair accessible.  The festival opens from noon to 11pm each day with free entry for card carrying CAMRA members.  There’s free entry for everyone between noon and 3pm.  After that entrance costs £3.  Accompanied children are welcome until 6.30pm.  A refundable commemorative glass costs £3.  For more details visit http://colchestercamra.org.uk/festivals/.  There’s food too and on Saturday night, music from The Short People.
