Brentwood Beer will be among more than 200 real ales on offer at the festival along with 50 ciders, perries and pyders.  Look out for BBC2 2.5%, Chestnut Stout 3.5% and Hix’s Darkside 7%.  There’ll be International beers, local wines and soft drinks  plus hot and cold food.  The festival is organised and run by volunteers from Chelmsford and Mid Essex CAMRA.  They’re not using beer cards this time, it’s a cash bar instead.  At 3pm on 18th February, the editor of CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide, Roger Protz, will be signing copies of his book after opening the festival.  For full details visit:  www.chelmsfordbeerandciderfestivals.org.uk.  Remember to try a pint of Brentwood in Chelmsford.  Love Beer, Love Brentwood
