The theme of this year’s Strawberry Fair on Shenfield Common, Brentwood on 11th June is  Strawberries and Queen,  to mark HRH The Queen’s 90th birthday.

A popular family day out, at the event there will be community and craft and gift stalls, and local food and drink including the ever-popular Brentwood Brewery Beer Tent.

Music and dance performances in the big top,  children’s fun fair rides and activities make up the entertainments on offer.  Most popular of all are the stars of the day, strawberries and cream.

The event, which usually attracts 5000 people of all ages, is free.

There is talk of strawberry cider for this year – ask in the beer tent.  See you there!
