Ale-Klahoma! – the Brentwood Beer created to celebrate Shenfield Operatic Society’s latest production, Oklahoma! – is now available in bottles from The Brewery Shop.
This special brew will also be raising funds for Hornchurch-based First Step, with 10 pence per bottle or pint sold, going to the charity which helps families throughout Essex.
A competition was held to name the beer. Congratulations go to Tracy Richardson who suggested the winning name. Tracy wins a gift pack of beer and tickets to the show in February next year. It follows the success of last year’s collaboration between the brewery and Shenfield Operatic Society for the production Sister Act with the Brentwood Beer Ale Mary.
Oklahoma! runs from 10 – 13th February 2016 at Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch. For ticket information see www.shenfieldoperaticsociety.co.uk or email: [email protected] or call 07734 817418.
Ale-Klahoma! will also be available at Brentwood’s premiere festive event, Lighting Up Brentwood, on Saturday 28th November. The Brentwood Brewery and Shenfield Operatic Society stalls will be next to each other, outside Marks and Spencer in the High Street, where you can enjoy a delicious locally brewed, traditional, real ale, promote the show and help to raise funds for charity First Step. Yee Haa! Or should we say Yee Haa! and Ho, Ho, Ho!?
