Beer Festival Saturday

We’ve been finalising arrangements for our Christmas Beer Festival which is this Saturday, 9th December 10.30am – 5pm.

Music

Shenfield Operatic Society will be joining us at Brentwood Brewery from 10.45 – 11.45am to sing some Christmas Carols and perhaps a rendition of The Twelve Beers of Christmas?

In the afternoon we have musical entertainment from Michelle Ward, Johnny and The Timebombs and an Essex based ukulele band.

Christmas Fun

Santa will be here with his sleigh.  SNAP charity is organising some activities for children and we’ll be fundraising for this Warley based Essex charity too.

Food

Our resident chef and Brewery Manager, Dean, has been talking for weeks about the menu he’s putting together for the festival.  A selection of hot food and snacks will be available from our Beer Grylls snack van.  Top of the list is ‘Reindeer Pie’ although we’re reassured, no reindeers will have been harmed in the pie making process.

Beer

As you’d expect, we’ll have lots of Brentwood as well as Elephant School Brewing beer. For non-beer drinkers we’ll have Prosecco, gin, sloe gin and mulled cider.  Beer fans can look forward to:

Chestnut Stout 3.999%, Legacy 4%, Brentwood Gold 4.3%, Good Elf 4.5%, Sombrero 4.5%, Winter Warmer 4.7%, Mallowphant 4.8%, Chockwork Orange 6.5%, Mango Unchained 7.2% and Champagne Vlad 9.5%.  In keg:  Frosty Baubles 3.8% and Elephant School Pils 4.6%.

Entrance is free.  Beer is £3 a pint.  We’re next to Calcott Hall Farm Shop.

We Ho-ho-hope you’ll come along and enjoy a festive pint or two.  Tell your friends.  Bring your friends!  Merry Christmas from Roland and the Brewery Team.

Love Beer, Love Brentwood
