St George’s Day Brewery Outing

April 23, 2014 @ 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm

We’re set for a fun day out of the brewery with zany pub games, competitive sports and bizarre World Records to attempt – all in celebration of St George’s Day.  We’d love for the day to get the recognition it deserves by being made a Public Bank Holiday.  In the meantime, we’re determined to make merry, enjoy ourselves and hope you can join us too.

We’re leaving the brewery at 2.30pm.  There are limited places in the mini bus, so give us a call to check availability.  Otherwise meet us at a pub.  The programme is as follows:

3pm  The Swan – Test of Strength

4pm Hutton Junction – Darts with a Difference

5pm  The Rising Sun – Weetabix Eating (World Record Attempt)

6pm Old Brentwoods Rugby Club, Ashwells Lane – Beer Pong, an interesting adaptation of Ping Pong.

7pm The White Horse, Coxtie Green, our brewery tap – Barrel Rolling & Pickled Egg Eating (World Record Attempt)

The Earl of Brentwood doesn’t get out much but we’re hoping he will soon as he’s very competitive and has been eagerly practising for the pickled egg eating competition.  Phew!
