For St George

In celebration of St George, competitive pub games and general tomfoolery, Brentwood Brewing Company’s annual St George’s Day Ale Trail will start from The Swan in Brentwood High Street at 3pm on Thursday 23rd April.  The itinerary is as follows: 

3.00pm          The Swan                               Choir Practice

 3.30pm          The Merchant                      England v Germany table footy

 4.00pm          The Brave Nelson                World Record Beer Mat Flipping attempts

 5.00pm          The Plough, Hutton            Killer Pool tbc

 5.45pm           The Hutton Junction         Practicing for re-run of Agincourt (darts)

 6.30pm          The Rising Sun                    Shredded Wheat eating competition

 7.15pm            Old Brentwoods RFC         Beer Pong tournament

 8.00pm          The White Horse                 Dambusters (don’t ask, all will be explained)

Anyone aged 18 or over is very welcome to join us on our annual St George’s Day outing, arranged as part of the brewery’s ambition for England’s Patron Saint, St George, to get the recognition he deserves and for the 23rd April to be made into a Bank Holiday for everyone to enjoy. 

Obviously, Brentwood Beer will be available at each hostelry to satisfy the needs of all discerning and thirsty revellers. 

Please note timings are approximate and subject to complicated mathematical calculations explained simply as beer consumed v time multiplied by distance between each pub.
