Celebrate St George’s Day With Us

How do you fancy joining us for some competitive yet not too strenuous sports, zany pub games and slightly bizarre World Record Attempts – all in the name of St George’s Day celebrations?

We’d love for the day to get the recognition it deserves and for 23rd April to be made a Public Bank Holiday but until that happens, we’re making sure we celebrate the day in style and have a fun-packed programme of entertainment for you as follows:

3pm  The Swan – Test of Strength

4pm  Hutton Junction – Darts with a Difference

5pm  The Rising Sun – Weetabix Eating World Record Attempt

6pm  Old Brentwoods Rugby Club, Ashwells Lane – Beer Pong, an interesting adaptation of Ping Pong

7pm The White Horse, Coxtie Green and our brewery tap – Barrel Rolling and Pickled Egg Eating World Record Attempt.

We plan to leave the brewery at 2.30pm.  Spaces are limited in the mini bus so please call to find out about availability.  Alternatively, meet us at a pub.

The Earl of Brentwood is very competitive so keep an eye out for him on April 23rd as he plans to join in.  He doesn’t get out of the brewery much but we hope he does soon as he’s been eagerly practising for the pickled egg eating competition – phew!
